Breathe

: Of Hope I
Take a deep breath.

Hold it
Until you can feel its green lime
Bite at the edges of your being.

Now release it
So far that you cannot tell
It was ever yours.

Repeat,
As required.

Hi Arch!
Is this your form of stress relief? ;) I don't know if you read French but I posted a poem in French on my blog(I think it's a poem!) about Lebanon. Anyway, it's real beautiful; check it out! Take care...

breathing, an important thing to do during stressful times (i sympathize with myself too much).

what i do really love about this poem though, is that it reads like a deep breath... no release it.

beautiful.

p.s. finally got around to that link, thanks for the help.

Very nice. The last couple of lines were very American, but I got your point and it is very nice indeed.

It is weird how easily I came in terms with the imagery of the green lime, and I liked that, but the thing is, when you “release it/ So far that you cannot tell/ It was ever yours,” it almost chocked me (good). Wonderful! When you read my letter I shall mention to you how such a thing penetrates me.

Cool,
